Did you notice that there are new rules about transporting live wild hogs in Texas?

You can only hold them a certain amount of time, and you have to take them to a certified facility.

You can only turn boar and barrows loose in a hunting preserve -- no sows.

P.S. Does not affect us much since you can still do whatever you wish to with dead wild hogs.

Now Texas legislators are considering helicopter hunting of hogs to be made legal all over the state.

Should this happen, I predict many helicopter crashes.

This should not affect our hunting since helicopter hunters will have to get permission from landowners; and they also should chase the hogs over our way.
